Q Releases “Rant” Music Video on Thisis50.com
The style of music Q brings to the industry and his listeners is universal since he’s not limited to one genre of music.Recording artist Kupid aka Q has released the music video for his latest single “Rant”following the release of the Black Shadow Remix to “Who Shot Ya” featuring Jus J on iTunes in October 2016. That same year, he won the Unsigned Only Music Competition for his single “Who Shot Ya.” In 2015, he was listed as one of the 10 emerging artists in Hip Hop and R&B music to watch on Axs.com.His “Rant” track offers a different side of his music and proves his versatility.
About Q: Q is Antiguan and Guyanese—his father is from Antigua and his mother is from Guyana. Growing up, he would listen to a lot of Dancehall music from artists he looked up to. His father would play Caribbean music all week long. His musical influences include Red Rat, Vybez Kartel, and Lil Rick. He listens to a variety of music, with some of his favorites being Blink 182, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, and Bruno Mars to name a few.
